I’m still fiddling around with the Doctors and Cigarettes clips, using Ableton Live. I got a new MIDI controller, and Akai APD 25 Key. It’s a small MIDI keyboard that includes an array of buttons for activating clips, as well as some faders and knobs that can be assigned to different functions in the software.
Combining this with my pad controller, the MPD26, I can do pretty much all the stuff with Ableton that I’ve been wanting to do, and I don’t have to use drum pads to activate/deactivate clips.
Lots of fun. The software is so deep you could never learn everything it can do, and I just have the intro version.
