In celebration of today’s National Day of Prayer (technically tomorrrow’s, since I’m writing this a day early) I submit my favorite prayer ever! Yul Brynner, as Pharaoh, prays to his false idols to restore life to his son after the God of Moses unleashes plagues upon Egypt (killing the boy plus thousands of other children).
