I was at Staples office supply store the other day and noticed this Cross pen set on sale.

Seriously, how much more civilized can it get — a nice pen, two ink refills, and a cool little bag for the pen and refills. The only thing more sophisticated would be that same set, sitting on top of a journal in which to write one’s insane ideas, all sitting on one’s new desk.

I type a lot, but I like to practice my handwriting. I feel like it’s the only thing keeping the social fabric from completely breaking down. My handwriting isn’t beautiful, but it is legible.
